A major agricultural initiative, the ‘Farmer Cup’ competition, has officially begun in Gondia district. The Water Foundation and the Agriculture Department have jointly launched this program to help farmer groups adopt sustainable farming practices and improve water-resource management.
Training begins for agricultural officers
To successfully conduct the competition at the district level, extensive training sessions have been started for Assistant Agriculture Officers, Agriculture Supervisors, and field-level staff. Officials will guide participating farmer groups across villages after the training.
