Truck Burns to Ashes Near Navatola Village in Gondia District, Loss of 28 Lakhs

Gondia:A Tata truck (MH 40 – BL 8001), driven by its owner and driver, Mithun Shamakuwar Nagpure, was en route from Raipur to Gondia when it caught fire near Navatola village. The incident occurred on February 28th at around 2:30 PM, approximately 9 kilometers from Saleksa Pass. The fire was caused due to a jam in the brake liner, which led to the wheels overheating and igniting the tires. The truck, which was transporting animal feed, suffered damages worth approximately 8.5 lakh rupees. The vehicle itself is valued at around 20 lakh rupees. Both the driver and owner are residents of Sawari Taluka, Gondia, and a formal complaint has been filed at the Saleksa Police Station.
