Gondia:Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has launched the 'Lucky Digital Customer Scheme' to encourage online electricity bill payments. Customers who pay their bills online for three or more consecutive months between January 1 and May 31, 2025, will be eligible for a lucky draw.
Rewards:
1st Prize: One winner per subdivision will receive a smartphone.
2nd Prize: Two winners per subdivision will receive a smartphone.
3rd Prize: Two winners per subdivision will receive a smartwatch.
Lucky Draw Schedule:
First draw: April 7, 2025 (online).
Next draws: To be held in May and June 2025.
Eligibility:
Open to all low-tension electricity consumers.
Must pay electricity bills online for at least three consecutive months within the scheme period.
Encouraging Digital Payments
MSEDCL aims to increase the percentage of online bill payments. The company offers website and mobile app facilities for payments and provides a 0.25% discount on digital payments. Currently, over 70% of electricity consumers in Maharashtra use online bill payment methods.
