Gondia:The Instrument Landing System (ILS) at Birsi Airport is operational again, allowing night landings and all-weather operations as approved by the DGCA.

Efforts by MP Praful Patel and AAI officials played a key role in this development.

The airport now supports night landings, boosting passenger air services. A CAT-I Approach Lighting System will be installed soon for operations in low visibility (800-900m).

From April, a private airline will launch Gondia-Indore flights, improving regional connectivity.
